  Saturday Afternoon in Gangchon
In the late afternoon Scotty came to pick me up at the motel on his motorcycle and ride me up to the Flow Fest grounds araound the corner. It wasn't very far at all, we picked a good motel (well, Joel picked a good one!) but it was still too far to walk.
Shelly walked up at the same time and her and I ate some of the chili dogs and chili nacho chips that were on offer. We were starving and parched as we'd had nothing to eat or drink all morning (having not thought ahead!) and we devoured all the sustenance we could get. After eating we hobbled (well, I hobbled, amd Shelly walked obviously) up to the second stage.

There were two stages, and we decided that the "dj stage" was our best bet for the kind of music we both liked. I wasn't up for much moving around so we had decided it was best to park my chair and stuff somewheres and then just ride out the night there. This is the awesome folding camp chair that Joel picked up for me. Big Hand, eh? Well, you know what they say!
We got set up in a good spot and got our first bevvies, and sat around shooting the shit and listening to the sound checks. There were bands playing at the lower stage and we could hear them pretty well. Everybody dropped by and said hello, brought me some supplies for the night, food and some drinks, crutches and hoodies. Scott and Shane my coworkers were both great for getting me beer, and Joel and Shelly of course took good care of me. Lots of lovely people were also very helpful, Christine and Derek Drake Sex Choco especially. As the sun went down, we found ourselves settled in with lots of brew, good company and good music coming.
